A Challenge

Just think that someone as great and powerful as the Father Almighty,

Sent His Son, Jesus, to die so your sins could be forgiven completely.

He set you free from eternal suffering and never ending pain,

He took the punishment you deserve, yet you still complain?

He has loved you and given you reason to hope for what is to come.

Think about it, will you still be able to live like in His Eternal Kingdom?

He is maker of Heaven and earth and everything in them,

So why do you not obey His commands? Do you not love Him?

Seek Him first and everything else He will provide.*

That was His promise, the one you have denied,

Because you want what you want and you want what pleases you.

You have chosen to serve yourself, seeking comfort and pleasure in all you do.

Your pride is so precious to you that you aren’t willing to make a sacrifice.

You aren’t willing to suffer for Jesus who suffered for you and paid your price.

The Father sent Jesus to earth, away from His heavenly Throne,

To restore His relationship with you, for you are His own.

You are His child and He longs for your embrace;

He wants you more than anything so He sent Jesus to die in your place.

Do you think He wants that sacrifice squandered and abused?

He wants you in His commands, that is how it’s used.

We are dirty children who can’t be with Him until we’re clean.

That’s what it does, it makes us as blameless as Him when we’re seen.

So take hold of His grace and use it how He planned:

To seek Him first and to love Him enough to obey His commands.
